There is a castle in troy, MT (so I heard from people) that I think is in the woods owned by the forestry department. Do you have any information on it?
Later, I received E-Mail that said:
All I know of the castle near Troy, Montana was it was featured in a war movie made during the ‘70’s. I don’t know what the film was called but in the end credits special thanks was given to the U.S. Forest service for the use of the castle.
Later, I received E-Mail that said:
I'm not sure but I think the movie with the Troy Montana Castle in it was War Party. I think that was the only war movie filmed here in the 70's.
Later, I received E-Mail that said:
Hello, just reading the info regarding the movie "War Party" as possibly being the film where the unknown castle might have been seen in. I don't think so. I grew up in Montana and had a cousin in that film. It was filmed in the late 80's in Browning, Montana, which isn't near Troy. Just wanted to give you some info.
Does anyone have any information about it? Is there someplace I can get a picture?
