This castle is from an old post card from Newport R.I. I don’t know whether it still exists. It may have been torn down like so many other Newport mansions.
[ Castlefinder note] Does anyone know if this is still in existence?

With repect to Gray Craig in Newport, RI (It is currently in Middletown, RI, but when it was built, Middletown was part of Newport, not a separate town), Nicholas Cage, the actor and nephew of Francis Ford Coppola, bought it last summer.

[ Castlefinder note] I would love to have a color photo of what this castle looks like now. Does anyone know where I can find one?

The photo that you have of Gray Craig was the house that once stood there. It was knocked down and there is a Gray Craig but it was built around 1924 for the Van Beuren family by the architect Harrie Lindeberg. on the spot where the former Gray Craig once stood. Here is a photo of what Gray Craig looks like today:
[ Castlefinder note] How unfortunate, it's no longer a castle.

Thanks to John Klein for sending the photo.
