There is a castle in Lakewood, CO it can be seen from Yale Avenue, between Sheridan Blvd and Wadsworth Blvd, if you look North. It can only be seen in the winter, as it is obscured by trees. It is even hard to spot then, unless you know what you are looking for.

Hi my name is China and I used to live by the so called castle. It is a mansion that was owned by a man who owned Howard Electric and you can drive up to it through the back streets. It is a home on top of the hill with a lot of land, but not a castle.

I am not one to trespass on private land so I had to settle for a view from across the valley. I didn't do any research on the castle in Lakewood either but I did use the largest zoom lens I had. This is what I came up with.

I do have a little information on the "unknown" castle in lakewood. It is owned by a family that is friends with the british royal family. They have received visits periodically from princess Anne as well as other notables that come to the Denver area. They do have a large acreage, probably totalling 50-75 and generally live to themselves, spending time on their private lake that lies directly east of their castle.

In regards to the "castle" in Lakewood, Colorado. I'm not sure if it is the same building or not but If you can see it also from Wadsworth Blvd at about Morrison Road then I know exactly who lives there. If this is the same place let me know, the "tennant" is actually a very interesting and important person.

I saw this today. It's pretty much a small house with a tower looking section on it. And one can no longer see it from Yale. From Yale, one has to take the road across from Pierce and go North in through the new townhouses, and climb up the old road (up the hill) and then you can see it. It's left of a really big house (not a castle).
